EFL teachers use the different internet applications in their language that they can utilize to make their teaching/learning environments more effective

Task 2
Today, internet are using widely by people with different level of education.  Internet is one of the famous multimedia because many people depend to it in everything such as writing report and searching for topic. No one can ignore the critical role that internet play in development of learning program.
There are five different applications that contribute in changing the teaching and learning. The teachers are using when they teach their student in the classroom. Also, they make their teaching more effective by follow those internet applications.
1- Email which help users to send different kinds of letter to any institution and any time without limits. You can send large amount of information in a matter of moments, across continents. It also saves paper. You can check your email at any time, at any place. You can save emails with hardly any chance of losing them, as opposed to storing papers, which are quite easy to lose. Teacher can use email to provide the students with authentic communication. Also, email helps students to look at their own and their partner's messages and
analyzes them.

2- Chat room is the one application which has affect in opening different chatting room that helps in connecting people around the world and it can help to introduce the concept of chatting room for education. Chatting rooms is one method that make learning/teaching effective by give students chance to chat with other from other country. Also we can use it to improve our language by using the target language.

3- Blog is a type of new technology. It can be use in classroom environment for diary entry. It can be a useful tool to like communication between study groups within a class. It provides a communication space that teachers can utilize with students. In addition, teacher can use blogs to improve reading and writing skills. Also, using blogs in teaching English language is useful. it gives daily reading practice to the learners and learners can help each others when they commit mistakes .

4- msn-messenger is a kind of online communication that allows interaction through personal computer. It is a good way to exchange thoughts and ideas in private way . Teacher can improve speaking skills and writing skills by using messenger. I like using messenger very much because   it allows individual and group conversation , improves writing and speaking skills ,allows you to exchange messages privately , it
helps learner to interact face to face
 .

5-  Mobile (phones) focus on the use of mobile phones in an EFL classroom and introduces different ways of applying cell phones for EFL teaching/learning purposes. There are some potential benefits of using cell phones in learning: The use of cell phones can:Increase student engagement ,Prepare students for world of work ,Provide access to online textbooks, Improve teacher-parent-student communications and Enable students review class materials .So Cell phones may help students be more self-directed, creative and motivated in their learning. In fact, mobile technology may serve as a useful tool in EFL teaching/learning.

Therefore, there are many available opportunities for EFL teachers to use the internet in their language classes. For example, using computer like MS power point, Internet and also computer assisted instruction. I do agree that technology can be used as an effective teaching tool for English language learners.Social networks: such as face book, twitter.

All these application have impact in the teaching facilities. It facilitates the learning by introduce the matter with different way which attract the students more in education. The teacher should be more away in introducing internet application to encourage the students to gain more information. Also, all these can make good environment for student. Now student need objective and technology to make clear environment.

The guidelines that EFL teachers consider when using technology in their language classes

Task 1
Teaching program is developing day by day. Teachers try to change the techniques of teaching another language. Today EFL teachers introduce the education by using different kinds of multimedia such as computer, Radio, phone, translation device, TV and Internet.  All these focus in introduce the learning in sound perspective and vision perspective.
Technology is the practical application of knowledge in a particular area. Nowadays the word “technology” influences all aspects of lives. For example, we use computer at home as a tool for many activities like watching TV, playing games. Moreover,   using technology facilitates the way of education and improves the level of students. The EFL teachers should be careful while introducing learning through technology. And they should follow a certain role and guidelines to make it more effective to develop the languages among students. Teachers need to introduce the language in four manners: listening, reading, writing and speaking. These terms will make a huge different in improving the language skills with students. Introducing multimedia needs consideration in student's application of it in correct way to be sure that they get benefits from connecting technology to teaching program. Also, Using different kinds of multimedia make students more interesting to learn different languages. The teachers should be aware about the way that students apply the technology to let them use it in more effective way. The teachers should try to let students accept the technology in the curriculum and making language easy.
On other hands, one way to attract students in studying English is using technologies such as internet, computer programs, videos and online lessons. They can make students more interesting. They could feel that English is not boring but interesting and fun. It also results to higher scores and achievement.
Moreover, teachers try to use any sources to motivate them, to enhance them pay attention when they are in class e.g. using computer like MS power point, Internet and also computer assisted instruction. I do agree that technology can be used as an effective teaching tool for English language learners. Also, I believe that the first thing a teacher should think about is the relevance of what he/she is teaching and then choose the best approach to do so, by using technology or not. Also, technology is supposed to add value to your class, not distract the student from the real purpose of the class.
Therefore, technology offers powerful supports in EFL language teaching. All teachers should be the learner at the same time learning to use the new technology to help their teaching. The technology help the teachers achieve the teaching goals easily and the learners will develop their 4 skills of English in the same time.
At the end,   Not easy for teachers to introduce language by using technology because people tend to refuse any changing in way of learning and needs a lot of time to training them in using new multimedia. Introducing of language by technology needs a lot of efforts from teacher who teaches and students as well. To make technology successful, teachers should introduce it in clear point to make students understand easily.

Effective Communication at workplace

What is communication?
Communication is an exchange of feeling, ideas and information. Whether by speaking, writing or behaviors.
On other hand, it is the art and technique of using words effectively to impart information or ideas. Also , to convey knowledge of or information .
When a person sends or receives information, ideas and feeling with other not only using spoken or written communication but also nonverbal communication.
What level of communication?
The concept that can is effective exchange of meaning or understanding applies to both formal and informal communication.
Communication is not one way?
It is important to remember that communication with people is not a matter of one sender and one receiver , but rather an exchange in you and they people and both sender and receiver .
So this means that for real communication to take place, there must be interaction, with each player participating.
 Communication Process

Receiver
Sender
Receive message
Start with a meaning  / message to send
Decode and convert to meaning
Enode ( verbal and nonverbal )
Respond
Send message
Interact with feedback

Why do we communicate ?
We communicate with ourselves and other people to fill current inner tensions or needs.
So there are many current needs we each try to fill:
To feel respected by self and other -
To give or get credible information -
-To avoid some uncomfortable, like silence

To create excitement (reduce numbness .

So communication is very important to improve you skill (speaking , conversation ) . In any communication at least some of the meaning lost in simple transmission of a message from the sender to the receiver .

The ethics of blog commenting

I think communications is a fundamental part of human nature. This does not change just because we sit in front of a computer or an internet in the hand trying to reach out and communicate. Conversation, sharing thoughts or experiences & getting feedback is important for the individual but is also essential for our development and improvement.  SO blogging is communication and while it is typically controlled by the blogger taking the initiative it doesn’t really work and add value to anyone if no one. The importance of blog commenting as a reflection of “internet ethics” .

What do you mean “Internet Ethics”?

Computer Technology Internet Ethics! TODAY computers have become more and more important in the lives of most everyone. In the workplace computers are everywhere. In education students are now required to use a word processor to produce reports and assignments for most of their classes. Many classes require students to do research on the Internet.
Moreover, Ethics are standards of right and wrong behavior. It is the basis of trust and cooperation in relationships with others.  Also, ethics is a system of moral principles. It is the rules or standards governing the conduct of a person or the members of a profession.

In addition, ethics are abstract rules that govern our relationship with each other.  They are indispensable in every area of life that requires human interaction. We constantly hear terms like "work ethics" and "social ethics".  Moreover, the concept of internet ethics is much broader than the "Do nots". It also covers the "Must Do" and "Nice to Do" patterns of behavior. I strongly believe that blog commenting is a must-do internet ethics rule.
Therefore, ethics in Internet and computer use are important to all who use the mediums. When a student goes on to higher education the information learned in this Web Quest is required of all students. Many if not all business that use computers and the Internet require their employees to know same type of information and to abide by Acceptable Use Policies for their companies. Knowing the rules and policies protect you the learner from problems that can arise from improper use of computers and the Internet .

Why would you use blogs in foreign-language education?

I think Blogs are easily accessible and easy to use. In addition, they are a new technology, and as such, the   format might appeal to students, who spend much time in front of their computers .

The most important argument for using blogs in teaching might be their format: the way they are set up, they invite participation. They also have the potential to democratize the classroom; as with other forms of computer-mediated communication, each student can participate equally. Moreover, blogs can be accessed anytime and anywhere, so students can write at their own convenience and determine their own pace and level of contribution. In this way, blogs give students not only more control over their own learning, but also the ownership of a personal space.
Other arguments that speak for the use of blogs in a foreign-language course are their ability to include images, sound, and video files, so students are exposed to, and can make use of. Last but not least, maintaining a blog on a regular basis can improve writing and promote students’ self-awareness about their writing. Students are forced to condense their thoughts and to write on a regular basis, all of which can help them become better writers in the foreign language.

Use Blogging in Learning

I in my opinion , I realize that blogs don’t have to be everything but the potential of blogs to lead students to become reflective, life-long learners who want to share and communicate with an audience to make meaning of the world is quite amazing.  So teachers by using blogs with students can promote student self-assessment by providing opportunities for students to think and talk about what they are learning. By encouraging them to evaluate their own progress. Teachers are empowering students to reflect on themselves as learners” (2006, Joseph).
Moreover, Blogs, like the one we have done for this course, allow for this type of reflection. Encourage interaction. Blogging should not be a solo activity. Encourage bloggers to read each other’s works and to comment on them. Encouraging students to set up an RSS reader with each other’s blogs will make reading and commenting a lot easier.
