I love the idea of using educational blogging in my classroom. This would be an excellent way to communicate with the parents of my first graders about the exciting events that happen in our little world. In fact, the kids would be able to describe and voice their opinions in a community with teacher and parent support. I believe this will be a huge motivator for the reluctant reader/writer to work on skills so that they can get their ideas across. This could even be used as an informal research site to learn about community jobs and aspects of various cultures, especially with the families within the classroom. Posting homework would be easy along with the list of sight words and spelling words.
I love that too Fatima.. and i think our students in the future are gonna like it .. because they are really good at it .. and kids love learning the way that they like not the way that they're forced to ... and this way is one of the ways that'll make them creative people.

ردحذفI don't like that because the student isn't really good at it , it lose his time that just for small students in school. but the university that idea is very benifit for them to learning or sharing with other .
ردحذفi agree with both of you, i think its a smart idea, you can also put educational games and videos to keeps the little kids coming back to your blog and actually spend time playing and learning. its a smart idea if you put a game that makes them learn something new they are suppose to learn the next day by just playing agame the day before it on your blog or by just watching a video

ردحذفHi Fatima , thanks for put your comment . I read it but I disagree with u because I think blog as educational tool.So it can serve as apotral to foster a community of learners . They are easy to create and update efficiently .They can be uesd to inform students of class requirements , post handouts, notices and homework .

The thing I most liked in your post is that you looked at the benefits to those language beginners, which we all ignored its active role it might play. ‘‘The kids would be able to describe and voice their opinions '' I fully support this statement, because Internet is a wide spread tool for communication and can grantee interest to language beginners, since they have curiosity to discover the world around them. Moreover, they are working with their parents’ assistance, so it will maximize the benefits. Blogs might not only serve as educational tool but also a reference and a way to transform cultures from one generation to another.
